About Us
The team at SBC understands that losing substantial weight and keeping it off is very difficult. This can be due to a lot of factors such as hormones, genetics, medical and environmental reasons, all leading to a complex body response which inevitably leads to weight regain. Surgery is a very real option if you have struggled with weight issues for many years without long term success. With modern advances in surgical techniques such as laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, recovery time is quick and results are excellent. Often surgery can also reverse or greatly reduce the negative health effects of obesity leading to a marked improvement in quality of life. (The only down side is sometimes you have to wait a while to see them but take a magazine they will give you all the time in the world when it’s your appointment time or if you need it too! )
I’m 6weeks post op from band to bypass and already a new woman.. I can’t say enough about the staff at the clinic from when you walk through those doors you are treated like family.

Honestly this has changed my life forever
I got the gastric bypass loop on 19th nov 2020, and now 4ish months on i no longer have high cholesterole, high sugars, and no longer have diabetes type 2 (in remission as they call it)
The staff and surgeons are compassionate, understanding, encouraging and made me feel comfortable.
